We look forward to seeing you at next year's Annual Meeting - Stay Tuned. DHMS directly assists businesses and coordinates sustainable community-driven revitalization efforts in our business district. Our commercial revitalization efforts are organized and led by local volunteers and community development professionals. Our services are offered free of charge to businesses in the Deanwood and Ward 7 community.

FY 2014 Great Streets Initiative Grants
The Office of the Deputy Mayor will be awarding individual grants up to a maximum of $85,000 each to support and foster growth among DC small businesses in Deanwood and in other areas throughout Ward 7 and the District of Columbia. Grant funds may be utilized to reimburse the grantee for capital expenditures that improve the grantee's business property.
